For Christmas we bought the girls the matching game. Ever since then, Megan has been looking for matches wherever she goes. If she's wear blue jeans and a purple shirt she will say "No Match!" If she's wearing purple pants and a purple shirt she will say "Match!"
The other day when we were driving in Doug's truck, Evie saw a yellow truck and pointed it out and then said that Doug's truck was brown. Megan yells out "No Match!"
One match that she likes to make often is our names. She'll say Evie's full name and Austin's full name and say "No Match!" Then she'll say her full name and my full name and since our middle names are the same, she'll say "Match!"
Last night, Austin wanted Megan to sit with him so they could talk a little bit before the girls had bedtime. Megan was just ignoring him and wouldn't sit with him. I said "Megan, you listen to your daddy when he talks to you." She says, "Megan Rae Long, Daddy Mark Long. No Match!" So because her name and Austin's name weren't the same, she wasn't going to listen to him.
These girls are really getting little personalities. Evie all of a sudden has decided that she wants to be mommy's helper. She'll tell me she's a good helper, and that "Little girls love to help." She's really growing up fast.
