For Megan's birthday this year we had a breakfast with family. Menu: Sausage gravy and biscuits, lemon bars, french toast casserole, eggs and fruit. Because there wasn't a cake, I decided to put the birthday candles in the french toast casserole. This seemed like a great idea until I pulled the aluminum foil off of the casserole to sing to Megan to find all the candles flopped over on their sides. I thought the wax had just gotten soft until I pulled the candles out and found that the the wax had melted all the way off!
This left wax in the casserole and all my candles left as stubs. Austin's quick thinking saved the day as he put a candle in a banana. Megan thought this was pretty funny and it was pretty one of a kind!
