Claire hasn't really said any words yet that we can recognize. She makes lots of noises. She points to where she wants to go or to get things she wants.
She likes to brush her hair or put on headbands, and every time she does I always say, "aaawwww, pretty." The other day she handed me some headphones. I didn't want them so I just set them down. She picked them up and handed them to me again, so I put them on. When I did, she nodded her head and said, "Pree-ee" with a big smile. It had the same inflections as when I say it.
We haven't been able to get her to say it again since then, so who knows:)-- but it was super cute anyway.
